yea heard some great feedback bout um and for 350quid its a great bargain, i got a royal mail collection card through the door yesterday i hope its my powerflex dog bone mount
.call off Bill from Badger5 and his new MK2 TIP with the jetex cone has been sent so hopefully have that tomorrow too
p.s also fitted my fabia rear arm last night will put a pic up of that soon too
Great progress dude. Only thing I'd say about the pipework on the intercooler is to make sure there's enough of a bead on the ends to stop it falling apart under pressure. Other members found this to be an issue with theirs once the car was mapped
Stumped for Brakes Discs + Pads also Coilovers, any of you guys have preferences or know any good deals ? ive searched on forums but you lot have had so many differents bits its hard to decide lol

Most people tend to go with either the Weitec coilovers or the AP coilovers. I dont have them so cant really recommend but Ill be getting Weitec when the time comes

I've just got the Weitec Hicon GT coilovers fitted to mine and they are awesome, I highly recommend them.
cheers for the feedback mate, how bout brakes i mean ive not really got alot of brakes experience i usally just go for cheap brakes but obviously gettin the stage 2 map i need some more stopping power lol was thinkin original brembos with grooves and maybe ferodo or mintex pads...
Plain Brembo's or EBC disc's will be fine
If you go for grooved disc's your pads wont last as long and they are ment to be a bit noiser.
As for pads go for Ferrodo DS2500, there is a Mintek pad that is pretty good but I cant remeber what model they are, AmD use them in the BTCC Golf race car

yea im trying to stop but its very hard haha, debating to get acouple more things or let my credit card cool down for a month haha
That's the Mintex 1144 pads D.K is referring to, I have them on the car at the moment with a set of grooved ebc discs, great stopping power but dusty as mad and noisy as F when they get dusty! Going to try the ds2500 pads next time to see how they do. I also changed the brake fluid when I changed the brakes, would definitely recommend doing this when you do yours.

Just got a call from backdraft, they are starting work on my car WOOHOO,
he told me after a check over the only 2 things wrong was the n249 was missing some clips so components were just dangling so they are doin the n249 bypass, also there is a small boost leak coming from a hole in one of the pipes for the side intercoolers but they arent going to replace the part since im goin to be putting my new TX FMIC on in the next week or so, i think all in all the car has a pretty good bill of health

picked up car today from backdraft and all i can say is i wish i lived in a tunnel lol the sound off the new exhaust is fantasic lol, had the 007p DV put on, i done the n249 Bypass also had the stage 2 remap, remap is on low setting atm due to a boost leak coming from a pipe on side intercooler.
but been told once i get my TX FMIC on this problem should be solved. Badger5 TIP was sent out today so hopefully get that tomorrow, ive been told to bring the car back back for adjustment once these bits are fitted so i can get the full kick in the nuts power
