Matrix headlights - Safety recall

The software update didn't apply and managed to, as the dealer put it, fry the antenna.
This rendered the car undrivable !
I have been told that the part required to fix the issue is not available and is on back order!
Has anyone had a similar experience, as I would like to have an idea as to how long I will need to wait?

Send me your VIN number and I'll see what the back order status is like for the part.

I assume it's the antenna control module and the SOS light is now on in red?

I've no idea, sorry. The car is still in the workshop at the dealers!
I was told that all warning signs were lit up!

The part is back order with the manufacturer of the part itself, not even available from the S.A factory.

We have a vehicle in exactly the same boat, it could be days or weeks before stock becomes available.

Thanks. In the meantime they've hired a completely inappropriate car for me. Grandland, but the boot isn't big enough to take a wheelchair and a large holdall!
