I suppose they could be painted black, I reckon it would help. I've used tips before but was lucky and you couldn't see the clamps. Is there anyway you could raise the tips a little bit, might make the clamps harder to see?

On my old car (Skoda Octavia) I was lucky enough to pick up a new vRS exhaust on eBay, never EVER see (good condition) FR or Cupra exhausts on eBay though. :(

I do like the white ones myself.. but something is just telling me no.. don't do it!

I think its cos it may look like a rally car! lol

Another mod will come next week hopefully... Gettin one part of it done this weekend I think, the rest of it will be done maybe monday/tuesday if it arrives in time!

(there's 3 items altogether if you want to guess! (well, 5 if we're being picky! lol)

I'm one of the seemingly few people who don't really like black alloys... I can't see the point in buying them if ur gona paint them black and hide them in the tyres/wheel arches.. may aswell get steelies to do the same job really.. But that's just me! haha

Cheers dude,

get a RR up with pics then!

Normally I'd agree, but on a red car, black looks so well!

It has to be gloss black though, I absolutely hate matte black, I can't see the point at all!

Go white. Love white alloys. Either that or a bright silver I'd say. Hate black and anthracite can be hit or miss imo. Sometimes look good but sometimes just look dirty. What about something with a slight sparkle like the amg alloys?

For those who didn't spot the thread over on the Sere page...

Dunno how, but I mamaged to pick up a brand new set of MK5 sport pedals set... for free!!

David sent it out to me as a tester to see if it fitted the mk4 with the idea that i'd leave it back to him if they didnt fit. He let me keep them if I put up a few pics to show everyone that they do fit... Legend!

Anyway, here they are:

how to they fit on? any drilling etc?

never mind i just read the other post but if any one wants to know

heres a quote:

the Acc pedal goes on over it as it is.. the other 2 you have to remove the rubber pads on them, pretty easily just pulls off.

Thers a bracket for the back of each pedal, on the Acc and Clutch its broke into two parts, and the pedal just screws onto this to secure to the pedal..

Really easy to fit, takes about 5-10 mins tops. Instruction booklet, screws and alan key are all included too.
