Maxed engine power???

Can anybody tell me the max bhp a standard mark 3 ibiza cupra engine can take?

o right i think its around 300-320bhpish possibly some one else can confirm and i think the torque limit is similiar to mate

Depending on the turbo. Hybrids that deliver huge amounts of torque at lower RPM (~300 lb/ft mark) than BTs are also in potential rod bending territory.

I know of one that pulled 362bhp and is still pulling hard and well.

Its the hight torque more than anything that spits rods out.

cheers for all the info guys was looking at building mine up to around the 270bhp mark so by the sounds off it this will b safe enough to do so ! x
