Why would you want to drill holes and suck in hot air?

I don't get it, if you want louder surely you'd buy a cone filter

If you only drill the holes on the cold side then you don't get the heatsoak that you get from an open cone...

Just realised I never added this. I cant justify paying £100+ on an open/cones filter when you can get same affect for £30 minium

I just bought a dual cone powerflow green cotton jobbie but I've not fitted it yet.
Got it from MrWookie on here for £90 with a carbon engine cover included...

D.K dont you mean cherry bomb. I'm born and breed essex boy racer so I need the sound. Besides the drilled airbox sounds better than the 57i (k&n) I fitted when I 1st bought the Lcr. Altho deep down I want the V6 with the 57i back just for the sound
