Member map and signitures

2 suggestions.

1) Is it possible to have a new interactive member map?

2) Could we have new rules on sigs, something like only 1 or 2 lines of text, no images? It makes the forum loads quicker, even more so for people using mobiles to access the forums.

if you go to userCp

then edit options

scroll down to Thread Display Options

deselect what you don't want from the list will help

Indeed as Flapper suggests just turn off signatures and other related images from the user cp.

Were not sure about the member map, it's been problematic so we might be removing it for good.

On another forum I used to go on, they had a member map, which was a link to another site with the mapping software, everyone just entered their name and address, then you could browse to see where everyone lived. Ideal for organising meets

Correct, it worked sporadically on here, but because it sometimes falls over & isn't supported on this version of the forum it's currently (and probably permanently) offline

I don't know where the map was from, but I remembered that the other forum I was on about used Frappr
