number86 - if the rims came off a mercedi's SLR then the brembo's are no problem they're actually et69 so loads of space behind them. as for corners and being so wide its on air suspension, doesnt rub at all even when its on the floor, and the handling is just as good as coilovers.
I've got a push button switch, ignition fed with stainless boot poppers to spring the boot past the latch when you operate the solenoid.

That looks amazing in my opinion, the merc wheels look spot. I only found out a little whil ago this hub conversion could be done, wish I knew before I bought my wheels! Think you've done a brillliant job, the wheels under those hydraulics looks just right

The merc rims i have had around for quite a while but struggled to get them on - et69!
Custom adaptors was the first route then spoke to RH in germany
As for hydraulics the car is actually on air ride just to confirm, (hydraulics are found on the american hot rods that bounce)

the company who did my air suspension has forwarded these pics onto pvw
hopefully get a feature as shes the first leon on air ride and first smoothed leon around??

i've most prob 200mm + arch clearance lol.
finally got the rear boot working now, ended up using a US boot popper to fix the problem with the catch stayin latched. unfortunately not at edition38 this weekend the show the car should be at but bournemouth has its first air festival hoping to get someone to give the car a proper detail and clean to get the paint perfect as the new paint has now had time to properly harden
