Depends on how wide they are and the stance you want as to how long you get the bolts. Eg. if your going to use spacers. I got my ET adapters from an Alloy wheel shop and they now make them for VAG to merc fitment so was really easy.

Call me old fashioned, boring or whatever, but if you want Mercedes wheels, then maybe you should buy a Mercedes?

Funny how there is a lack of Mercedes going about with SEAT wheels though eh?

I'm running 18x8, et35 OZ Mercedes lookalikes on my Mk 2 Leon. If you go any wider than 8 inch then they will be out-side the arches. With an et of 35 you will not need spacers, nor should you need adapters as Merc. wheels are 5x112 like the Leon so the standard length bolts will be fine. I've included a couple of photos to give you and idea of how they might sit and finally may I say that I am so glad that you are prepared to think out-side the box and not follow all the other sheep.

So your criticising people for wanting to be different? All your doing is slating him when all he asked for is advice? Why comment on his thread if it is of no use to the OP?

Anyway im running 9" on the rear, 8" on the front and had to get longer bolts and new locking wheel bolts which i sourced from Mercedes.

Where was the criticism?

That was not a criticism. It was a suggestion.

To be critical would be to say that someones car looked like a barry'd up chav chariot with components/styling cues fitted from a more upmarket car to replicate the look of a more upmarket car in an attempt to make it look better than it actually is ;)

Must say that I totally agree with Dave 88. The guy posted a serious query regarding fitment of Merc. wheels. Your reply addressed no aspect of his post whatsoever, so what was the point in replying apart from trying to be a smart ass. If you cannot accept that not every-one wants to conform to your idea of styling or if you cannot offer consructive advice then perhaps you might want to refrain from spamming other peoples posts.

maybe because i'm only 19 cant afford a merc, cant afford to run one or insure one. But think some of the wheels are nice and would look good on a leon.

You best tell the other thousands of people who have put other car manufactores wheels onto their cars, lyk th hundreds of mk1 leons and mk4 ibiza's who have audi wheels on.

Oh cheers for advice lads and the leon looks well in them pics.

Hmm Could do. Any pics of some leon (pref silver) with some different alloys on.
I just seen that the mercedes wheels where the same fitment so didn't think it would be too much hastle.

My mate has those wheels on his MK5 golf Jack and look well. I was thinking of Bentley and Porsche wheels myself before I saw the Merc Segins and fell in love! Whatever your choice im sure it will look cool rather than the same old same old BBS alloys. Keep us posted ;)
