Hi lads just wondering is it possible to fit the mib3 to a 2014 Leon fr I know Id need the newer bcm module If I were to do this just can't find anything on it online
Thanks for getting back to me dont know why I thought I had to change the bcm? i can probably get a mib3 from a breakers near me for cheap enough reckon it's worth it or should I just go for the mib2
Mib2 high... but East Yorkshire isn't keen on them. More mib2 standards on recovered units. Mib2 standard will do the job. The navigation isn't so precise. Look and feel is the same. Same voice.
No jukebox and it's a mib2 standard or lesser mib2. The carbon malarkey is controlled by coding. There are threads on this you can change that. I found it difficult to read so kept to the standard Seat background for easy visibility. "Carbon car", carbon look to the mib2 screen. A background pattern. Like putting in frecked paper in a laser printer. Easier to read without the freckles. Software toggle to turn on and off the diamond effect. Called skins.
There were a range of mib2 units from the entry level to the fully functional ones with bells and whistles. The bells and whistles toggled on and off by software control.
The SSP 163 shows what was offered on these systems in the time period in question from the entry level to the mib2 standard and the mib2 high called the plus unit in Seat terms. Page 42.
Navi system, Navi system plus (aka mib2 standard and high in generic terms to the Vag brand)
