thats a good price. audi vw repair centre gave me prices which add up to £552 for major service, brake fluid and timing belt/ water pump
i might phone the dealers for a laugh
Good newsThat wasnt too bad then, like you said though, I'd still claim off the council!
Well mine was as low as it would go at the back, and about an inch and a half left on the front. I'm thinking I'm just going to drop the back to match the front in the pictures at the top of this page (How its currently sitting). It looks good low, but I can't get in my driveway with passengers with the adjusters out![]()

Thats a bit of a pain, don't your friends think your wierd having a car that low lol? My pals are'nt into cars at all and don't understand my obsesssion ha ha.

They don't drive
Needless to say, the p gets ripped all the time about that lol.One of my pals refuses to learn because his mum and dad are forcing him to use his grans Chevrolet Matiz![]()
Some of them drive, some don't. Instead I've a mate who just thinks a Golf Mk4 1.4E (he's thinking of getting one, no car and no license at the moment!) is the dogs danglies... I'd rather have my car than a Golf 1.4E! At least I've got air-con!Atleast they drive Chris lol. I think modding is only for certain people though, a car is just a car at the end of the day for some people!

Looking nice mate
I wouldn't drop the front any more as i dropped mine and the front wheel starts to scrape the arch when cornering, so i had to raise it up a little
Couldn't agree more with rf860, that Meguiars tyre gel is the best stuff and it smells amazing![]()
Cheers
Ben
Ride is better than standard mate, much smoother and less crashy. When I had it decked it was quite bumpy, but you expect that and it would be the same on any set that isnt damper adjustable.
Where it is just now is actually quite comfy and obviously better handling too![]()
Does it? haha.. worth buying to use or to smell?I normally use AG Tyre Dressing but I ran out and couldn't be bothered going to buy more since it was only a quick wash

hmm, looking at getting coilovers but not sure if i want to shell out £200 for them to break 6 months down the road. Also, with them being at the lower end of the market, surely you get creaking/knocking?
