read ure whole thread earlier. car is looking sweet i think the rims would look better without the polished lip, think it looks abit out of place think theyd look better the same as the rest of the rim. or you could do them the same as youre interior and strut lol

Cheers.. I guess, think if i done them the same as the interior theyd look a bit cheap and tacky.. Plus the lips go with the bolts and badges on the wheels.. Theyl be up for sale in a few months, got plans for another set of funky rims

Bugger all to update but the evo seats will be cming back out this weekend and the doorcards and sent off first thing next week, 2 weeks time i should get them back.. got a nice big sample of fabric which i would upload but my cameras broke ..

In the mean time, Ive just spent out my hard earned cash and had the airbag lights turned off..

Costing me a fortune.....

Where do you fit these resistors Mike? I'll be needing these soon for the new drivers seat.

In to the plugs under the seat mate.. the 2 positive wires

mike do you know if they would work on the steering wheel , as i have changed mine to a porsche momo but its due for mot need the airbag light off

Yes mate, you need to check the resistance of the bag.. i got lucky and read up and found out a 4.7ohm would do the seats.. But aint sure on steering wheel bags, im sure theres some info about somewhere... check the mk4 golf forums.. same principles

No probs.. Youd still need a resistor to fool it in to thinking the airbag is there, or youd clear the fault with vagcom and it would just keep coming back...... You can actually turn each individual airbag on/off through vagcom so ive read..

i have a hand held code reader so i can wipe the airbag light off if i can get the right resistor from what i have red its 4.7 so going to order the same as what you got mike

Just a quicky.. Messing about on my liquid gauge this morning, and i got a reading of 209gs mass air flow.. My cars unmapped at the mo, should it be that high?..

209 / 0.8 = 261.25 bhp (ish)

mike resistors came today put one in each side of the connector wiped all codes of and the airbag stays on so think it is going to have to be vagcom'd out worth a try

My cars only got a de-cat, blueflame cat back, Drilled airbox, forge 007p ( but running bailys at mo cos im a chav ).. surely the liquid gauge was having an off day

Yes youl need to hook it up to vagcom to clear it i think.. but then it wont come back as the resistors are in.. if it does come back you need a lower/higher resistance one

Lol.. but ive done run after run on the engine power setting and the highest ive had is 242bhp.. Then this morning i felt like giving it a clear out never done a gs reading and it said 209's

Be bloody big boost spike to get it to 209
Can you get old of vag com and do some logs that will confirm it.
