Managed to get both wings smoothed last night . . Welded, fillered, primed, and then sealed from the back.

Like the smoothed wings mate, doing same to mine when i get them sprayed.

Not sure about the rear handles and rub strips yet hav to see it painted. Keep up gd work

Haha . . Yeh The L.C.R really suits smoothed wings and totally legal too . . Tonight ill be taking the sideskirts off and plastic welding and smoothing all 4 jacking points, also the drivers side door strips and rear handle, the car will then only have the rear badge, aerial, and front handles, the whole car otherwise will be smoooooth . . Its gonna be a long night.

Are you going for air if your smoothing the jacking points?? or just not going too low?

Nope as low as i can go on coilovers . . Maybe air in the future . . I never use the jacking points anyway as there a bitch to get clipped in again i find, With a low access jack you can just slide it under, ive got quite a bit of room to play with at the moment, and can lower the front stupid amounts anyway unless i want to say byebye to my splitter lol

As long as you have visible indicators at the sides your fine legally... How far round are the leons?

Personally I'd be looking at mk5/6 GTI wing mirrors

Yeah they come around enough to be viewed from the sides.

Yep totally legal as you can clearly see them from the side of the car . . mk5 golf mirrors are huge so thats a no no for me . .

Yet another nights progress, We got the door repaired as there was an awkward dent to fix ( you cant see it in the pic ) and smoothed the rubstrip

Also go both sills plastic welded, fillered and primed . .

Today hopefully the drivers rear handle will be welded smoothed, and well get the sideskirts painted in the candy white
