Right mate issue 167 sept 2010 - Jamie Simm, green MK4 GTI with R32 conversion and a black tweed interior with green stitching, if you can do it!!! It's classy but very fresh and different.

I remembered these and that if I could ever do new seats/retrim it would be them, TWEED!!! DO IT and do the backs the bright colour or match to the paintwork or wheels.

Gonna be hard to find BUT it's the tweed!!! And i remember rob finding an awesome set of diff makes for cheaper. Ideally i would have Bride seats in tweed or... New Cupra R seats!

Tweed is hard to describe, you need to go see some to get the idea. I think leather is done to death now

Yeh ive seen them seats Jake.. hes off Cleaned-uk forum what im on too.... Id love seats like that but it seems a shame to spend that money on mint seats and then have them covered anyways.. looks like ill have to do that though.... save, save, save....

Wasnt a big fan of the new wheels at all, nt enough poke or me but that 1st pic in that shoot is mint and changed my mind, big diffrence with decent ride height. Love it. Look forward to see it...Early edition??

Baby blue....do it, a pale blue would look mint. Seen couple cars with white/light paint jobs and blue interior looks sexual.

Thanks mate, i wont be making early edition ... Still some bodywork to tidy yet, Baby blue or green it will be i think, altho i still have time to change my mind and ideas so it could turn out different ...

Not much to update really other than Ive fitted my engine spacers, raised the sump more than i thought it would actually, really easy to fit, far better than a shallow sump Imo..

And Ive decided on the seats im getting, nothing super special, but im yet to see them in a Leon, again i know of a couple of golfs that have them... And decided on my colour sheme too 100% too... hopefully in a couple of weeks things will start to get moving again.. ...

Do i fit an s3 coolant cover and a s3 battery cover to my bay?.. not keen on the battery ones but may look odd with just the other one?... thoughts?

Its a pain to fit, you need to change the washer bottle for a different one plus loads of fiddling about to get it to fit properly from what I have seen. Still can be done though. Personally I am not massively keen on them
