I'd never heard of this until now. Will give it a go. Does it matter what kind of diesel your using it with no?

Have used it with Asda, Shell normal and V-Power, BP normal, Total normal and excellium....so no, doesn't matter.
Have found Shell diesel extra and millers to be a good combination.

Sorry for the lateness in responding to your message.
Overall, it's much worse. I used the stuff again tonight. It's a very small safety cap, hard to unscrew in a mans hands!
I can't get the black collar off, so I decided against using it. The drips run down the neck of the bottle. Very messy and smelly! Not good when your going food shopping after filling up!
I'm sorry to say but it's unlikely i'll be buying this again.
What gets me is why the bottle style was changed.
Eh well, progress I think they call it??!!

I found it best to use standard Diesel with millers. I filled up with Vpower diesel and millers once before, and its the only time ive seen my car smoke badly!
I use this ever tank for the past 6months. Missed two tanks before when i ran out of the stuff, and it just didnt sound as smooth! I personally dont notice any other differences other than the smoothness.
Ive got a couple of the old bottles still stored away, so hopefully wont have to expperience this new bottle anytime soon!!

New bottle is slightly unusual as I am not sure what the black plastic bit adds to the party (I have an 08 Leon so apologies if it is not needed for my car and is for someone else's).
As siad above, I only really notice a difference in the noise/smoothness of the engine, but this can surely only be a good thing so I will keep using it.
Others have said before that there is little point in using it with 'premium' fuels (VPower etc) as it only adds the same cleaning properties these have already to standard fuel, although I do not know if this is correct.
I personally do not mind the smell, which helps as it is pretty strong!

the old bottle used to leak , mine did , boot stinks of the stuff still, ran out now so will be looking out for this
a question for you tho (a colleague in works Q Really )
if its supposed to clean your system out and unclog injectors ect , how does it do it , does it make a burning off effect
as the pd injectors are very fine this must make these small particals small enough to pass thru

Just picked up a bottle this afternoon... just out of interest where does everyone stash the bottle. It's too big for the door pocket, seems to jam down the side of the seat (which has evicted my torch).

i use 2 sticky back pieces of valcro, just the hook side stuck onto the bottle, then stick the bottle onto the carpet in the boot, works a treat never had a spilage.

Also a cetane improver to increase the resistance of uncontrolled combustion.

Got my first bottle today from Halfrauds. Couldn't wait to get home, so put some in the car, in the rain in the car park 
So far, and by so far I mean about 10 miles. There does seem to be a slight difference to tickover and general engine noise. Whether this is just me expecting results, I am not sure.
I have used Redex diesel treatment in the past and the 2 products smell identical. Not that I go around smelling diesel additives or anything
Though the Millers does seem to be making more of a difference already than the Redex ever did. The bottle states that the product starts to work properly after 200 miles, but it definitely does seem better already.
Will keep you updated anyway. But for now, I'd say Millers is better than Redex.

hi all,
i recently used millers after my seat leon fr was feeling a little sluggish at 40,000 miles. I have to be honest I used about 6 times the recommended amount.
All I can say is the car feels ridiculously quick. It hasnt felt like that since I first drove it at 12,000miles.
I don't know the long term effects as I a bit worried about the dpf because I recently had it regenerated, and I know dpf's can be a little sensitive.

Been using Millers additive for the last 4yrs with my 170 FR and it has NO affect on the DPF [ it does say on the millers web site OK for DPF fitted cars by the way. .................................
Miller's has more positive history on this web site - hardly heard Redex mentioned here although I used to use it on Petrol cars [ in the very old days!!]

Have to agree with Millers being the one to use. I stated using Millers back in the early '90's in my Peugeot 309 GLD and have used it ever since. IMHO forget about the "performance enhancing" stuff as the effect is marginal, just use it to keep everything in your fuel / injector system sweet and clean. When everything is sweet and clean and all the clag has been blown out of your system, it will seem as if there has been a noticeable improvement in performance.
General opinion seems to be that it has a better effect when used with supermarket or low-grade diesel fuel, which doesn't necessarily have the additives that you pay for with the dearer fuels.
