Im intrigued why no one has gone else where for an exhaust thogh.

Miltek have a pretty poor reputation across the forums when it comes to guys having failed welds etc on their exhausts. Granted they're after sales care is very good. The thing is they are more expensive than the competition as well, yet the wuality doesnt appear to be any better.

I think they just get in early with the developments and get the monopoly on the exhaust market. i think id rather go with blueflame or pipewerx get same quality maybe better and less cost.

Also most 'custom' exhausts come with a lifetime guarantee provided they are still on the original vehicle. You might also get some discounts as well as they will use your car as the development and get to make a jig from it for future sales

i know i may get quite a lot of stick for this but im having a powerflow cat back system done very soon. basically the company i work for bought out a nearby powerflow dealer so we can get an exhaust done very cheap. i know they are not the greatest exhausts ever made, but they assure me they are going to do a nice job make it sound awesome and im having the astra vxr style tailpipe out the back which i think will look very nice! please dont slate me too much but i just simply cant afford £1000 + for a milltek but want a little more growl from the boc. :)

never heard anything bad about powerflow( in fact dont think ive heard anything lol)

i personally consider miltek to be a bit of a rip off considering the amount of guys ive seen post up with issues regarding the quality. If your paying top dollar you dont expect that.

The only thing that would justify it for me is from what i gather their aftercare support is very good indeed.

Ive had piperwerx and piper systems in the past and they have been excellent. Blueflame also seems to be very well renowned on the GTI forums

powerflow are meant to be quite gd actually. I emailed blueflame a while ago to see if they were bringing out a system for the ibiza cupras but they never replied! Scorpion do a cat back system too but nobody really seems to be going for that.

I emailed my local specialist to enquire about the Milltek cat back and they were informed that they could only supply the whole system and not just the cat back ...£1300! Way out of my price range. I do know Awesome can supply cat back and delivered to N.Ireland for £450. But my local specialist asked if I had considered a custom exhaust ... no, I haven't. I would have thought a custom job would take a bit of time in development and testing. I think I would be cautious about getting a custom exhaust!

I had a powerflow on my last car, coupled with a piper 4-1 manifold and decat, sounded amazing, loved it and never had any problems. Cant wait to see what yours is like :)

I had a Miltek on my last car (fiesta mountune) and it broke after 18months, i just got the bocanegra two weeks ago and i cannot wait to start spending. AMD are not far from where i live and seem to be the best ones around for tunning ect ect. just dont want to get ripped off.

Miltek quality problems started when manufacturing was moved to China. They had a large number of welds splitting as well as the steel snapping. However they are bringing the manufacturing back to the UK to over come this problem. Not sure where this system is being made thou.

I have had a few Milteks and all have been 100% I had a Blue flame and when a weld cracked they refused to replace it saying it was dogbone monut that boke it...... never go to Blue flame again personaly
