dont get me wrong its a massive improvement of the standard pea shooters but does anyone else think it would look cool if it fit the whole properly...like vxr exhausts

The twin 80mm GT trims suit the rear of the vehicle nicely and fill the void that the trapezoid leaves when removed.

To design & manufcature a specific shape trim to fill the void would be very costly as you can imagine, hence why Seat just fed the trapezoid with 2 pea shooters.

Agreed, you could always costom make a piece that'll fit there and be "unique"

Spoke to Revo today (about my Revo being wiped due to new update). Asked about stage 2.

It will require
Intercooler (Probably forge twintercooler or S3 intercooler was not specified)
ITG Induction Kit
Milltek Turboback
Stage 2 Software

Clutch pack not needed for stage 2. Not sure on the figures etc as yet.

induction kit, intercooler and downpipe ill do, wont be doing a TBE though. Cant imagine an S3 cooler fitting though.

Did they mention any time lines? Im surprised its taking so long tbh. the 1.4 twin charged engine has been around for a fair while now (albeit in lower powered engines like the golf/scirroco 160ps 1.4TSI), and the cupra has been out for a fair bit as well. Id have thought the difference between them would be minimal.

if theres no requrement fr a clutch pack, id imagine they have kept the torque limited then!

Anyone hazard a guess on figures of stage 2? :D

i reckon its going to be +10-15Hp peak over stage 1. But with gains like that along the entire RPM band. Should mainly get its increase at the top of the rev range though, where the torque can hold on for longer due to the free flowing exhaust

The S3 fits behind the Rocco front bumper but its more likely they'll go for the Twintercooler.

They have only just started stage 2 now because they have only just got a decent exhaust system to work with.

ITG etc only came out about 5 months ago.

the scirroco shares the majority of its chassis etc with the mk5/6 golf. so its totally different to the Ibiza/fabia/polo. It could work though although id imagine it would need custom pipework, as no doubt its quite alot bigger than the oem ibiza IC

Yeah the OEM ibiza one is a skinny one that sits at the bottom about 1/2 foot high, the S3 is far bigger.

I know it used to work on the Mk4 as the Seat Sport Intercooler was big, but who knows.

I can't imagine the torque will be any higher than 330Nm.

hopefully the Audi RS1 or Polo R will be released by then, they should have a bigger cooler if they use the 1.4TSI.

I reckon 230Hp/300NM for the stage 2 is a nice figure to aim for. Especially if they can make it a really flat torque curve with little drop off higher in the rev range
