I didnt mean it in a bad way lol, :ban: i know its not a pea shooter and i bet it sounds good, just rather not see any of the insides, at least its not all shiney silver in there like the blueflames are when there new, looks like theyve painted it black inside there as it wouldnt be that sooted up from a few miles or driving :D

The inside is black, I'm not sure what they've used on it but they do do a ceramic coated tip on other system's,
Unless you look closely you don't really notice the 3" pipe inside the tip.

A few more pictures of the system

I did get one in the Dartford tunnel but all you can hear is the wind through the window :(
This was on the Rollers, I'll try and get a better one soon ;)

i like the look of this and i will be looking for an exhaust early next year so if this goes into production i think i would go for this one as long as its not silly money

i do prefer the design of this tailpipe to any other off the shelf item, im in the same boat as a lot of others if the price is right i will also be going for this one.

Darren any idea on how this is coming along in terms of release to the public? Any pricing info as yet?

Hope the system is still doing well.

Cheers

Milltek wanted me to run the system for 1 month before they released to the public, this should be around the 23rd of September ;)

The system is performing very well, I'v now had the stage 1 map tweaked and we saw good gain's in the torque, BHP stayed around the same but the battery had gone flat whilst we was down loading the map so this may have affected the figure's, I'm hopeing to run some logs at the weekend as the map should have adapted by then.

the quality of the joints and welds look very tidy, something some custom pipe companys cant match,

i was very impressed by the scorpions build quality ive got, but looking at that id say its even a step above that,

maybe ive been a bit harsh on miltek in the past!, ive never been a fan of them

Cool, cheers for the update Darren. I'll check back to the thread in a couple of weeks ;) Glad it's going well and the stage 1 tweaks have brought out gains worthwhile. Your car is something to look upto!

Very tempted by this exhaust even if it's a bit more than the Blueflame.. Looking at the pics again I have to agree it looks a very well constructed.

Only just seen this thread.... definately have to agree with wayne, seeing a small pipe in a huge tailpipe just screams 1litre corsa/saxo with a HUUUGE BLING RIPSPEED EXHAUST, YO!!! Not in the slightest bit desirable. I'd rather stick with the factory exhaust - even though you can see what looks like it should be a twin exit exhaust, at least the tip moulds roughly around this, and doesnt sit so excessively far away from the actual exhaust exit. If this is aiming to be a market leader, I can't see the reasoning behind this - at least recess the 'pea shooter' far enough into the tip that it is not visible!

That said, if this is all that has been changed, it does seem to have produced some pretty impressive gains.... are the before/after figures on the same set of rollers? and unfortunately, as Lee said, it's difficult to hear the noise over the distortion/sound of the rollers...I think you need to give someone a camera and blast it past them to give a real impression of the sound!

Sorry if this sounds negative, I'm glad Milltek are still trying to develop a nice system for our beloved cars, although personally I quite liked the old 'squarer' shape tip they used to do, the whole system in general does look to be nicely put together!

You're a lucky bloke Darren! (I'm sure this is partially because you chose the best colour LCR!!)
