Milltek - vibration.

Just had a Milltek catback fitted to my LCR - there is now a rattling/vibration when I accelerate from cold - doesn`t do it when the car is properly warmed up though - any ideas what this could be?.

Make sure that the rubber mounts have properly seated.

Could be brackets not on tight enough and so when cold rattles but once hot and expanded its filled the void and hence no rattle

Dug this old post out for an airing - had the heatshield removed as i was sure that was causing the rattling as it was loose - but to no avail, the vibration is still there when accelerating - have checked all mounts etc - sounds like its coming from the front passenger side but I cant locate where exactly - anyone any ideas as to what this might be? - thanks

on one of my old cars i had rattling when i fitted a scorpion duplex exhaust. i then fitted some powerflex poly hangers and it cured he problem straight away.
