Miltek Non Resonated Exhaust??

I was of the same opinion to be honest although its making the Milltek DPF delete more enticing ........... see if that gives the sound we all crave from our dirty diesels.
No mine doesn't sound like that from what I can tell, however a friend has a DPF delete and a remap on a standard exhaust system and that sounds closer than mine

I've had the remap and a dpf delete and thought that the miltek exhaust would sound brill but honestly you can hardly tell its on!

Hmmmm that's interesting, did you use a dpf delete pipe or have the dpf cut out and kept the original pipe? Because I know my milltek section is a larger diameter pipe than standard

OK well that's the same as I bought and had fitted, maybe but the milltek dpf delete pipe to replace the oe one you cut the dpf out of might get you the sound you're chasing ..... last time I looked that was almost £400 though

woo thats expensive! just spent £1,000 on the milltek exhaust!
Im gunna wait until i get a reply from the place that bought and fitted it for me as they told me it would have a massive difference and sound amazing but it doesn't.
So ill see what they have to say.
surely they have to do something about it as they've sold me this exhaust promising me it'll sound great when actually its no different?

£1000!!!!! WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM????? I only paid £450 and it took me and a friend an hour to fit ....... did they do all your mods for that money?

all they did was buy that exhaust what i sent you the link to,, (the downpipe and the back section)
Which came to £800
then they said they would fit it for £60.
But when they came to put it on the brackets were in the wrong places as i have the aero kit and they needed to weld them on in different places to fit it properly so they spent 2.5 hours on it instead of 1.
so that an extra £200 almost.
so just short of a grand in total :|

Aha I see christ I must have got a hell of a deal I was told at the time for £1000 I could get the dpf delete pipe from the turbo and then the rest of the zoorst that I bought anyway ......but I'm just on standard fr bumpers so that got to have made a difference!! I used roadrunner motorsports in Nottingham check them out they may be able to shed some light on the situation if you need anything else as they're a milltek dealer. Their websites not online atm so check Facebook

Ahhh right.
Yes i have the dual exit pipes at the back though. Is your like that?
and yes ill check them out.
Also, do you know anyone with the same car as me who has put lowering springs on?
Got a 35mm set but don't know if it'll be too low for me :/

Yeah exactly the same dude I was looking for springs myself what did you get? The fr is slightly lower as standard I think so 35 shouldn't drop it too much maybe another 20mm I guess check the threads I here or try them and see if you keep the originals you can always swap back

they're 35mm apex springs.
Id get them on but I don't wanna pay to have them fitted and then decide that its too low or touches the arches.
Its like £120 for fitting isn't it?

I'm not sure to be honest as 2 of my very close mates are mechanics so they help me ........ by that I mean the do the job whilst I drink coffee

Im in York, and graphics as in stickers / decals.
I own a York based graphic design and print company.
So I've got all the vinyl and kit to make vehicle graphics
