Mirror Covers

How do i remove these to paint them without breaking something?

apparntly they pull off but ive never done mines yet,

Got new one's for mines to go on so would be good to know

push the mirror inwards towards the window (fold them) then get your fingers in the gap between the mirror cover and the base triagle that bolts to the door and it just pulls off

did mine at a meet, fold your mirror into the the window and where it folds is the easiest place to use a flat head screwdriver to gently pull it away, it held on by only 3 bits, easy peasy.

chris helped take mine off after you got kicked out of the car park! We wanted to see how the silver ones would look on his car, as I want the gloos black ons from the cupra and mel might sell me hers.

ijm guessing hes got a colour diffrent to black so wanted them the same colour as his bodywork or he had chrome 1's

They are painted in audi aluminium silver paint which i had left over from when i did some spraying on my old Audi A4

did'nt fancy body coloured i like em theyre diffrent look a bit like the brushed alley ones seat sell

Fancied them to be a bit different. Put a Mating agent in the laquer so they aren't too shiny, so they look like the ali Seat ones as said above

Just i need to order new silver 1's (fr 1's) on monday so there in the car for me.
