Misfire but not coilpack

This is not a leon but a golf but should be same engine as the leon
anyway the car has been running rough on idle so I gave it a scan and it came up with misfires on cylinder 4. My first thoughts were coilpack so I ordered another and replaced it. The damn thing is still running rough and after a short while showed misfire on cylinder 4. I thought may be the new one is duff so I swapped coilpacks with cylinder 3 and guess what it is showing misfire cylinder 4. So if it's not the coil pack what can it be. the car is a golf 1.6se engine code BCB

I should have said sparkplugs have been replaced, would injector show up on vagcom thanks

Try swapping the plugs and see if the misfire moves. If it stays on 4, try swapping injectors cylinder to cylinder.

I will have a go tomz, I had misfire before changing plugs it was infact the first thing I did so I am doubting it is the plugs. I will give it a go just to make sure.
