I have a Leon cupra 1.8t AUQ, basically when I start up first thing in the morning or after a day at work it misfires and runs lumpy, after about a minute it's fine, I've scanned it and theres no fault codes.

Any ideas??

See as soon as I pick up the revs it goes it's just On idle but if I let off after revving it will idle lumpy again. I did a throttle adaption a little while back it seemed tos sort it out for a while but I did it again the other dat and it hasn't worked.

mine is a missfire when under load from stone cold, first time she goes into boost really holds back with massive popping antilag sounding misfire then clears after a couple of seconds and goes fine the reat of the day.

iSam i would check what readings your MAf is giving at idle

Try a coolent temp sensor cheap to replace use a genuine 1 about 30£ from tps

I have the same problem ! Had the coil packs all replaced under warranty and had the temp sensor changed still no luck ! Any ideas it's bugging me now ! Anyone ?? Thanks

In pretty sure it's the MAF sensor, I recently fully serviced my car with no luck still I swapped over my MAF and it didn't do it this morning. I will see how it goes when I leave work and let you know how it is.

bet none of you have tried replacing the actually plugs ? had exactly same problem with my cupra I bought recently from cold start it misfire like crazy but after a minute it would perfect again , checked all vacuum lines then replaced all coilpacks but problem still there I took out all the plugs and 2 very black and sooty , replaced all four with oem ngk plugs and problem as completely gone no issues from cold anymore at all

There's loads of different makes for a MAF is it best to get a Bosche one ?

100% Bosch

I've got the same problem. Changed the maf, coilpacks, plugs and full service and its still the same

Try the engine coolant temp sensor mate.
