Right ..... I really need assistance and some advice....

Just had my pre cat sensor replaced and a full service along with the DSG oil recall......

Car has NO engine management light on which is a good thing I guess............BUT!!!!!!

I hate the BUT.......................

My Boca keeps misfiring under load / boost.................

Almost feels the same as when the coilpack failed (coilpack was replaces just before warantee ran out) about 12 months ago...... at a guess!!!!!!

Any advice on what could be wrong - surely not coilpack AGAIN!!????? :-o

Any advice appreciated

You shouldn't just go and change the spark plugs. What if that's not it?
You should find someone with a diagnostics tool, like vcds, even go to the stealers if you have to and see the fault codes. Could be just one cylinder misfiring, so you only need one spark plug, could be coils, anything. Don't do anything before you see the fault codes.

Spark plugs are only 12 months old too!!!!!! Do you think there duff already?

The Boc has a habit of fouling it's plugs.
IIRC the correct plugs to use are shorter than originals and keep them out of the way from being hosed down with fuel, but the root cause is bad design that points the fuel at the plugs in the first place.

You could try whipping the plugs out and cleaning them up - if the misfire improves then it's a good sign they are slowly getting mucky.

I've had new plugs in about 4/5k ago. Have checked on the VCDS tonight and found quite a few misfires on cyl 3 under load. I'll take the spark out tomorrow and have a look at it, I might also try swapping the coil to see if the issue follows.

Sounds like the shorter plugs could help though, I'll probably look into those as well. Thanks for the advice, the joy that this engine keeps on giving me!

check gap on plugs, I set 0.7mm, and torque them to 26 Nm.. since that, all fine. Doesnt mean it will cure your problems, but give it a try
