rading posts like this is making me want coilovers all the time,i love the way my car handles at standard height but the bumps are a nightmare ive always driven my car like its low anyway avoiding every bump and drain i can.
do you have any pictures of the way your car sits?

Not wound down all the way as i use it for commuting, fast road and track use. Needs spacers though atm.

only thing thats putting me off is i dont want the ride to be any more harsh than it already is,but as you say trial and error i just dont want to have to fit them and find i dont like them and have to remove them again to fit the standard suspension.

looks good great kahn your be surprised the difference spacers make.

Standard suspension is harsh as fook, i felt right at home as soon as i got the standard stuff off the car and coilies on, you'll love it mate.

Id say for you, have adjusters in at the rear but all the way down and then 15-16 threads from bottom of the shock on the front :) it will be similar to that silver one above

Thinking about the H&R 20mm aluminium magnesium jobbies. Dont wont to increase the unsprung weight any more than it already is with the lead alloys.

Great_kahn, your car sits lovely there, exactly what im gonna do when i get mine ordered.
can u get ppl in the back tho?

Honestly, never had more than two people in the back. There seems to be loads of arch gap left on the rears. Never been a problem. Imagine with spacers there could be potential for some scrubbing.

Ive got 20mm spacers on already, i just want to be able to drive it without it rubbing. i very rarely have more than two in the car anyway, but occasionaly i do have more passengers. i could just drop it slightly so theres less chance of it happening?

Thats the good thing with coilovers, you can adjust them.

iam running fk's the £200 quid ones off the bay and they've been great (touch wood) nothings happened to them but there is a few storys going about about them twisting and bending etc and the drop you can get on them are great :)

i had to raise them up as they were scrubbing with 2 people in the back ! but tbh your car is a lot faster than mine so you should really get some good quality coilies
