Yeah they made one last year I think, finally. Random time to do one as the MK4 was discontinued in 09-08 heh

Wish somebody would make a PDF of it haha

only came out in May....

Got a long list of problems to sort out, time to start reading!

Ah I must of remembered when it was announced, I remembered hearing something last year anyway heh

I should get one really :D

Here

"Does NOT cover models with 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0 litre petrol engines or 1.9 litre non-turbo diesel engine.

Does NOT cover Cupra models, or new model range introduced May 2008"

Sort of defeats the object, I'd want one for things that were more Cupra specific, as generic stuff is usually pretty obvious to work out..

I queried the lack of 'useful' models, and they said there weren't enough of these in circulation. I mentioned the fact that they produce one for Concorde, but didn't hear any more!!!

I agree the Haynes manual is a bit limited in the models it covers; I have a 1.4 model and most of the images cover the 1.2 engine etc. If they made a copy that was to cover all the models it would be pretty big!

As an aid/guide to fixing some of what SEAT would charge a fortune for its worth the ~£20. As my Ibiza is nearly always having issues I hope to try and save a few quid by having a go myself. Discs and pads are next on the never ending list...Any suggestions on alternative parts? Just replaced the bushes with powerflex and much better.

yeh i thought haynes had at last done a manual for my sdi, till i find that it excludes non turbo,s! was gutted, the only place i can find one is Amazon France this covers the mk4 SDI as well, just one snag can you read French easily! if so they are stating they have 3 in stock.

I have the manuel , it will cover your car as its 1.9 tdi, most of the things will be the same.

As above, wondering which one to buy as i dont think this one covers it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HAYNES-MANUAL...es_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item20b5ebcf85 I have a 07 Facelift FR TDI 130 Btw
Thanks for any help!

I have that manual - It will cover what you need for the 1.9TDi FR.

Most of the manual is based on the 130 TDi SPORT

The bodywork section is all based on the PRE-facelift car so your bumpers are not covered but they are easy enough to remove without a manual.

bumper are exactly the same number of bolts as all bumpers are interchangeable, if you only wanted it for that you be better of buying a £5 elsawin workshop cd rom i used that for taking dozens of bits off my car, book would be a bit easier but costs more, not exactly a fortune thou!

Further to my previous - How much is a used Concorde? I'd like to have a manual that deals with the subject fully.
