What size would you go for ??
How about a set of Porsche phone dial wheels or some d90s to stay with that Porsche theme

I think 16's would be too big for the car really. plus the cost and ballache of converting 4x98 to 5x130. I had thought about some P slots off the mk2 gti's

It sits quite well on 5spoke, which suprised me

Heres some of the photoshops from rarerims website

Yeh white was my intial plan, but the compomotive TH's would be worth 5 times more than the car! lol

If anyone wants to photoshop the P slots on then feel free, Im pretty useless with photoshop

I think having the bumpers white will be too much whiteness tbh

I'll stick a spare bit of vinyl on and see how it looks

Yeh I'd looked at turbo's but they'd need powercoating white, which again puts the costs up. Id be amazed if the Mk1 is worth £300, even totally mint.

I've found replica Rota GT3's for £295 brand new, in either white or red. P slots can come in pretty cheap, just not sure about going down the oem vw route, when technically this things a bloody Fiat lol

Thanks for the feedback guys, Finally wrapped the last panel today. All looking pretty decent.

Also had a free sample of some wrap my supplier just got in. Didnt ask for it, but I thought it would be a shame to waste it. So I set about wrapping the original badges

I'd already done the 1.2 badge, but a quick pic of the Seat badge before dunring and after stylee

Thats the back end back together. Getting a bung for the rear wiper hole. Cant see the point in re-fitting it when it wont get used anyway

Bumpers half off, but 1 bolt is well and truely seized and I've got a broken thumb at the min so that will be staying put for a while!

Thanks guys, had a few people slag it off on another forum, which doesnt bother me, Its not my ideal retro car but it was free, and needed saving from the crusher.

I took the back wheel off at the weekend, to see what I can do about lowering the back end. Was amazed how clean it was down there.

Quick wipe with a damp microfibre and it looked like this (yep thats all original even the drum)

Well I got the bumper off this morning, yet again I was amazed how clean it was behind there.

Quick wipe with a cloth and it looked like this

Decided while it was off that I may aswell bang a big of underseal on there to prevent any future rust from appearing

Thinking I might satin black the bumpers while they're off, wont do them white cus I think it just looks too much.

I'll be doing the same to the front when I get time, Maybe get her down to the garage and get a fresh MOT on, but that might wait untill next springtime.
