can some body show me what to blank off and where the new vac pipes run so i make sure ive got it correct.

its just one thread says do it this way and another one says dont do it like that do it like this so im just looking for an answer as it will be completed on my drive and im no specialist :D cheers.

Try the search facility @ top right if page mate,I found this link helpful

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=215866&highlight=N249+bypass+guide

if he is not sure about it, then it dos not help that the link is for a LCR, almost the same but almost everything has a different location on a LC then a LCR when you do the N249 delete.

LCR is on top of engine, LC is not, some of it is under the manifold infront of the engine.

the simpliest would be fit a T at the small hose on the FPR and a new hose from this T to the DV insted of the hose already on the DV. but this way its not the best way.

the best way to delete the N249 is if you also do this:
N112 Deleted (SAI electronic valve)
SAI pump Deleted
Kombivalve Deleted with a blockoff plate
if you do it this way, then there are 2 vacuum hoses left on the passenger side of the manifold, one for the FPR and one for the DV, simpel it is. remember if you do remove any electrical valves you have to do a resister.

ive cracked it now but im worried about that vac line that shud go to top of dv  where does it originate (not dv top, the other end) as mines no where to be seen and im not running it un blocked, bypass or not :(

just in need of a pic to show where the vac pipe goes to just incase im missing something, i cant find a pic anywhere and its driving me nuts why i cant find it.

even printing off a vac pipe blue print and checking my lines i couldnt figure out the route from top of dv to ........................... where ?? :censored:

ill be taking it all appart tomorrow will update with pics or progress report, if i have a break i may be able to see things more clearley lol cheers

i had mine all hidden underneath the plactic cover where the dipstick locate .
