Car looks mint mate and the picture definitely do not do the paintwork justice. A friend of mine has the SE Fabia VRS in this blue and recently had it resprayed. Looks immense in the flesh.

He went with white oz superleggera and green calipers, looks the nuts. The green compliments the car colour perfectly so id definitely give it a thought bud!

As said before I like it. Like that fact you sprayed it all yourself and got involved in its change. I'd spray mine if I had the gear and the know how.

I would definitely recommend giving it a go if you had the know how and a good lighted shed or something that resembles a booth. Getting the clear on nice and wet is the most important but.

Car looks really nice mate, had a question for you. How low is your car as I was looking into getting borbets for my leon but there is a lot of speed bumps in my area.

I love the borbets, there awesome to drive with... On nice smooth roads. But I wouldn't recommend them if you live anywhere near a speedbump, or a small bump for that fact. I had them on for one night and caught my subframe a dozen times on decent roads.

AMG alloys go well mate

Thanks, thinking on a change now soon.

The colour is beautiful in the sun. But its VERY hard to keep clean, as are polished lips.

I was thinking on just freshening them up in silver again, not fussed on bright colours as I think it might cheapen the look of the car, maybe red with sportier alloys. Depending on what I go for next..

No more progress made, it's breaking my heart keeping it clean and finding parking spots lol

Put the car up for sale, as I want one if these.

Been offered 5 tdi boras, a snap on tool box worth £4k, a 800cc seadoo jetski, 05 focus, 07 Sri vectra, c2 gt, an omega and I forget what else lol. So I took it down as I only had 3 time wasters. Still undecided on selling it or just keeping it and putting hydro in.

Opinions on these?

It's 10,000th wash since its been painted, my hearts broke.

Raised it up and put on MOT plates for a while, the police are clamping down with random mot checks.

Ive changed my mind, don't change the bumpers or paint the strips, its grown on me what you already have. Anyone with the older bumpers have changed them to the facelift or LCR ones, so actually makes your more different then most of us on here.

I have no opinion on your next wheels as i really really like the AMG ones on yours as it is !

50/50 on the center caps, might need to see them on to decide ?

The R bumpers do look so good though. But I like the standard rear bumpers..

You just put me off the centres, I never imagined them on the wheels. The black would completely stand out and cheapen them I reckon, but they look cool. What about these?

Also, is there a difference in the sizes of the cupra spoilers and standard spoilers?

Yes i like the caps on them.

Id say the difference between the spoilers was about 1.5" longer. not a massive difference but the deeper ones do look abit better

:( really wanted them but I am in a fairly well speed bumped area I wasn't going to lower my car to much but reducing the wheel size does reduce the ride height a bit but it should only be half an inch which is about 12.7mm, so i wouldnt have thought it would be that bad? its a shame the borbets aren't available in 17s. Ill have to give it some serious consideration.

Thanks for the advice mate.

My mates golf is lowered 60mm and the sills are f****d with the borbets vs speedbumps. They do come in 17" but I've never seen a 5x100 staggered set, my friend is selling his?

not seen any interior shots, you running the standard seats ?

It's basically standard apart from a carbon wrapped centre console, black pillars and 1 piece front seat covers (vinyl work ones),

The difference wheels make is unbelievable..

Just measured the two. Measuring from the middle out, the early style one is 8" and the LCR style one is 10", so a difference of 2" then

Cheers dude, it's hardly worth changing tbh. Not many people around my part would notice..
