Hi all, been mulling over a remap for a while, the specialists near to me have an offer on at the moment, my question is will a remap stop me wanting a mk2 16 v golf!! Mmmm.

i used to have a jade green mk2 valver, with full tan leather, dropped on coilys, ronal turbos and g60 arches, crystal lights, single badgeless grille and wiper and i loved it, i wish id never sold it! there a car i think you never stop loving, i still get the itch now to buy another! get a clean one and wherever you go people stop and ask questions about it, they have a big following. id say get the cupra mapped, and save some pennies for a good mk2 and keep it as a second car, polished to bits and use it on summers days, good ones are too rare these days to use everyday :)

Thanks chaps, my mate has just bought the track based 16v from volkswizard, and it has blown me away!, I'd love one, may keep my leon as the money spent on it by the previous owner means it's almost exactly how I want it to be, I've got a mk3 vr6 converted to 2.9 by awesome in my garage which I'm tempted to sell/ swap for a mk2, I just hope the current remap offer is a long running one so I can push for an early Christmas gift! Cheers.
