Mk1 Leon standard head unit + sub/amp already there, help please

Hi all

I have just removed and the sold the Alpine head unit which came with my MK1 Leon and am fitting the original, Auroa? head unit back in as like it.

Thing is, the alpine amp and sub is all still there and wired in so if I can connect to standard head unit it would be brilliant!

Am I right in thinking I just need this lead?

Yellow plug on back deffo has no wires.

Then just need to power the blue remote lead to turn the amp on and off, somehow?

Hi CB, you could use a high level signal conveyor which takes one pair of speaker outputs and converts it to the RCA style input required for amplifier use. (I think that is what you have linked to).

I have never used one myself and the only person I know who used one, blew the amp chip in his head unit as he was trying to draw took much power through it.
