As above seen this on another bit of the forum for ibiza's.

Post your 1/4 mile times with proof i.e photo of times etc.

And also a list of mods underneath.

So people can see roughly the advantages of mods, and so they have a rough idea of where they should be aiming for.

Mine where yesterday at GTI inters:

0 - 60 time: 1/4m time:
6.31 14.518
6.67 14.833
6.17 14.516

Mods on top two where, stage 1 apr map, tbe, intake, h and r springs.
on last run was stage 2 with above mods.

Need to get my 0-60 quicker, and launch at a higher rpm.

Stock one mate. Thought I felt a bit of slip yesterday on the motorway but in 5th gear i seriously doubt it was slip LOL. Only done like 43K on mine so i reckon it will be ok for a while yet tbh. When the time comes I will get the Southbend with silent SMF. Not cheap but it is the best you can get as far as I am concerned.

At 43k & Stage 2+ I'd budget for a clutch soon

Depending on what you get mate? I say, spend proper first time so Southbend looking anywhere from about 850.00 to 1500.00 without fitment. I think about £350.00 to fit a clutch kit.

No times but mine is 43k stg 1 and the clutch would slip around 3750, so I have had to take the map off and it's fine now. Either I budget for a clutch or a change of car. Any idea how much a kit is fitted ?

speak to Alex at AKS he did me a deal think i only paid £200 fitting.

i strongly doubt it was DMF. from speaking to people the DMF is very sloppy and loose anyway. i had this fear when mine started to slip in april (was on the way to BTCC at brands) one min the clutch was fine the next slipping like a mofo. everyone was like nah your DMF not your clutch.

got the Clutch changed to a Sachs one and the DMF checked over Alex at AKS said it was fine. never had any issue since.

premature changes on DMF according to a few people i know :)

why do you doubt it?

the first signs of a slipping clutch is when its under the most load which is generally 5th gear or 6th gear
