Mk2 Leon 1/4 Mile Times

Who's was the black LC that did a very early run when it was soaking wet, and basically wheel span all the way up the strip with its tyres smoking...

Erm yeah that was me ha ha it was my first time ever on the strip and it was soaking had muddy tires and everything plus my lead foot come out to play.

And lee na no mounts or lower mounts fitted.

I was suprised at how quick the mk4 golf r32's were! My god they didnt half rip up the strip! Especially one of the silver ones, sounded amazing too!

The one I went against in my wheelspin run was slow I caught him up at the end. That was spinning into 4th but yeah some where rapid.

My runs from today:

Only got 2 runs, then got to the front of the grid, pissed it down so waited for track to dry, then all of a sudden, just as we where about to run down the strip bloody rained again so called it a day.

1st run - 14.2, 105mph terminal speed.

2nd Run - 13.9 106mph terminal speed.

Very happy i got into the 13's, ill upload the video of the second run, against my mate in his calibra turbo, unfortunately he spun in first bad then missed a gear so it looks like i completely killed him.

yeah it is very good fun, just the grip there is amazing i only had trouble in first gear there, as soon as second gear came in it was flat and it gripped and went.

What were your 60ft times? Did you take weight out the car, ie rear seats?

They seem to have most of the 2.0tfsi times on there.... With a few Leon's in the mix too

I did take rear seats out the car, 60 foot was 2.432.

And wow that sucks my time is like 25th out that list.

at least it gives me something to aim for plus i am only stage 2 not 2+, so i dont have intercooler, Fuel pump, and RS4 return valve yet.

Surprised nobody has beaten the 3 12.9's done on 2007 K04 Cupra's that have been on that list forever now ( and all were genuine runs with proved time slips for all 3 ).

Yeah thats like silly fast, think i am going to buy some cheap steel wheels and chuck some drag rubber on them.

Get a WALK kit and some other bits.

Drag rubber would be cheating. The car has to be road legal for any times on that board.
