mk2 leon & mk5 golf alloys

hi i was wondering if any one could help me, i have mk5 golf alloys and i was wondering if any one new if they would fit a mk2 leon and what other cars would they fit?

They should indeed fit as long as they have the same offset, I have seen many Seat and VW's with various Audi and VW alloys as they share the same hub's but different offset. Offset can be sorted with spacers.

they'll fit but as mentioned the offset might be different. Depending on which way the offset is will decied whether you need spacers or not. THe offset should be stamped into the wheel IRC

my offset is 45 and most wheels i like are 40, any gurus out there now what size spacer i would need?

I think 40 might stick out too far, if i've got this right then a et50 with a 10mm spacer would be the same as a et40.... I think

Correct

To the OP PCD 5x112 7.5 or 8x18 with an ET from 43 to 51 will suit the Mk2.
The MK5 alloys will prob be within this spec. Try one.

the alloys that came off my golf off set et37, i take it these are to big for a leon?

they will probably stick out past the arches too much, they weren't off an R32 were they ?

no they were off mk5 gt sport 2.0 tdi 170.

you could try them but i think they might be a little wide, unless they are are a narrow rim width.
