Managed two nice handbrake turns in the empty car park before anyone else turned up!![]()
Quick question , want to know if this is common ?
drove in the snow the weekend , pulling away slowly (under 2 mph) the car struggled for grip (ice) but the front of the car always slides to the left ? as soon as traction is lost doesnt just grip and bite , both new tyres on the front and had my wheels aligned.
Does any one else just slide to the left or does your car just grip and keep striaght , if so is that on winter tyres or summer?
Cheers
Rob.
You'll find most roads camber to the left, so the car automatically follows the curve of the road

summer tyres but had the same experience when its wet , just notice it all the time in the wetI haven't had any trouble moving off with winter tyres, but on sheer ice I would expect the car to behave how you describe I guess. Is that using winters Rob?
Exactly. The camber is for the rain to run to the sides and go down the drains.
wow really?
blimey wondered why the drains were always on the left![]()
I've just order some Vredestein Wintrac xtreme. Anyone used them? They get good reviews what what I can find.
