MK2 on Lease... Deal or no Deal ?

Contemplating this lease deal and just wondered what you think... any good ?

SEAT LEON 2.0 TDI FR 170BHP (~ £17500.00 NEW)

3 + 23 payments of £230.00 (10,000 miles p/a)

3 x 230.00 = 690

23 x 230 = 5290

5290 + 690 = 5980 div 24 Months = £249.00 P/M

All including VAT

Must admit I reckon in two years time the car is going to be worth more than the new price less the two years of payments (17500 – 5980 = 11520) but saves on the hassle of Taxing, buying and selling etc + I cant afford a new one.

That doesn't sound too bad a deal - is it buisness or personal contract (they do differ) as when i looked pesonal was approx £100 more a month

Does this include an option to buy at an agreed price at the end of the lease?

Which company was it with?

Not really looked into it in great detail (was planning on calling them Monday) but pretty sure its a straight forward Personal Contract hire (as includes VAT) ie just give it back at the end.

One point i should mention though, figures are based on 15% VAT so will be a bit more, p/m now the tax has gone back to 17.5%

Have you tried Lingscars.com heard some really good things about them for personal lease and had some really good deals on FR TDi CR as well as a few others.

so Gateway sounds cheap if it is for personal lease

3 Year minimum (inc VAT - 10000 mls P/A )

3 x 404 = 1212
35 x 404 = 14140

14140 + 1212 = 15352 div by 36 = 426 P/M

Wow Lings has really jumped up in price was the same as Gateway when I looked in October 3* 249 then 23 * 249 in October!!! I would deffo give gateway a call ASAP as Iknow it was Seat wh were offering some cheap leasing deals to get a few more used FR's in the system come 2 years time.
