No it is that same threading and all that definatly know that.
I bought them off ebay so isn't really an accurate figure as I got them quite cheap with the brakes as well

both have different style bolt on stub axles but bear in mind the mk2 is a rear disc/hub assy together and the mk3 is all seperate parts

erm.. sorry for my ignorance, but what exactly does that mean ??
so it wont be a case of just taking off the calipers, removing pads/discs, taking hub off and then new hub on.. put existing calipers, discs/pads back on??

MK2 uses a stub axle with seperate bearings pressed into the rear disc/drum
MK3 uses a sealed rear hub/bearing assembly
You'd need MK2 stub axles, discs and bearings to make them fit the MK3

Easy to fit but not worth it imo, time you buy all the other bits it will probably work out cheaper buying two oe mk3 hub/bearings.
Also worth noting the mk2 uses a 226x10mm rear discs against the mk3 232x9mm, this "may" cause issues when trying to fit them

If your pricing for the mk3 parts then yes just the hubs
If it's the mk2 you'll need, hubs, stub axle, discs, bearings and abs rings (think that's it)
