Morning mk2'ers think this is my 2nd post in this section, so be gentle.
Ok, i have a new job, and fingers crossed will be alot alot more money, now i can use it wisely, ot just waste it all on fast cars and beer
i intend to do the latter.
my question is, do i buy my old 1.2 sx ibiza back and drop a 1.8t ihi mofo in with 450bhp! or buy a old school mk2 and again drop a 1.8 ihi mofo in it!
pros of the mk4 -
my old 1.2 (i feel for the old girl
)
sleeper stylee (would keep it standard looking)
stripped out and very fast
modern
cons -
gunna cost more for the mk4 to buy
going to keep my diesel mk4, so will have 2 mk4's!

pros of mk2 -
old skool
cheaper to buy and mod
lighter when stripped maybe?
cons -
dont know much about the mk2,
handling over a mk4?
easy to fit a 1.8t in?
havnt got prices for either car, or conversation yet... so could make a big difference, or little.. aka the mk4 could be easier to work on dropping a 1.8t init, so after taking everything into acct could be cheaper than the mk2?!
what do you guys think?
anyone got prices for a decent mk2 shell? and how much a engine transplant would be?
