Ok cool..

Was only told is was 3" when I brought the car to be honest, will measure it when i'm back. Looking at it though I think you're right.

Best place to get one from?

Also brought a couple bits while I'm in Germany - 28mm front roll bar, black series wish bone bushes & a complete 312 brake set up with brand new green stuff pads and Hel braided lines :)

Dean, where did you get the rose joint link for the rear ARB from?

Blue flame for the decat

That pic deans posted looks like a Neuspeed arb. Maybe try bill at badger5 or awesome GTi to get a set.

Regarding the bushes, as you can weld you should of brought the vibra technic rear wishbone bushes. 100 times better than powerflex.

I've already got the brackets from Bill so will see if he has the rose joint links too.

I haven't brought rear bushes yet as was thinking about those.. I think they're the best option so will go for those. Powerflex black are for the front :)

If you want full 3" system custom is the only way as there isn't any off the shelf unfortunately.

Bought some nice parts then really need brake upgrade myself.

I just came across that picture on fb isn't actually my car dude.

A little slow on the progress lately as I've been out of the UK for a while!!

Started to fit the K03s over the weekend but first thought it would be a good time for porting the manifold and matching to the gasket.

Will see how this performs once mapped.. Nice and smooth inside and plenty of material removed so hopefully a little better.

Struggling with fitting the K03s.. I left the lines in the car which was ok part from one! The rear coolant banjo is a total bitch to get on. I may have to drop the turbo off, removed the line from the block and refit it all that way instead..

Slightly annoying.

I fitted mine with engine out can imagine it's not a nice job with engine in car like.

Did you port the manifold yourself?

You part of any ibiza pages on fb arron?

Got it done in the end.. Sorted it within 30 seconds of working on the car yesterday.. Always the way when you leave something and come back to it!

Took the car out last night and it's much quicker!! Needs mapping to sort the boost out tho.

Ported the manifold myself yeah..

I'm on the Facebook groups.. 2 or 3 of them plus some VAG ones

Little more progress made..

Once the turbo was fitted I rebuilt the rest of the car although it didn't feel like it was boosting right. Had a play around with the VAC pipes and now it seems Ok.. Although I'm sure something isn't right still.

Car pulls well and is quicker that's for sure!

Fitted the 28mm Rear ARB

Combined with the black series top mounts it's made a big change to the handling!

Next i fitted the 20mm rear spacers

Then I fitted new side mounts made from ally rather than steal and also allow more adjustment - sit lower.

Old vs new

Then took it for another test drive. It was awesome..

Although.. Then it sprung an oil leak! Turbo return was leaking so last night @ 11pm it looked like this

I'd normally just park it up and leave it till I had free time but I had two of my 5 cars up for sale.. One sold on Monday leaving me with one back up and the Mrs with one (the other is loaned out) BUT then someone said they wanted to come view the other last night and they took it there and then while I was at Basketball.. Leaving me with just the Ibiza and new Leon at home! Wifey needed a car today so had no choice but to fix the Ibiza.

Turned out I fitted a slightly rounded cap head bolt into the turbo return meaning it wouldn't go tight enough - the mistakes of rushing! Took it apart, cleaned it and fitted a new bolt.. Job done!!

Updated front ARB and more black series bushes arrived yesterday.. Just waiting on the front lower brace then I'll get those on!

Cool, what did you use to port it?

Nice to see things still moving along nicely.

Ridley then is it ? Nice to match a name to a face haha.

I used a mix of burrs, flappy wheels and a die grinder to port it.. Loads of material that could be taken out so pretty happy with it.

haha! You found me!!.. Always good to have more of an idea of who you're talking to in the black hole of the internet

Nice new sidemonuts, looks like a monster compared to old.

I take it has more mounting points so u can sit further back if need be?

I need to replace mine...

Thanks dude!

Side mounts are much better and being bigger they give more adjustment yeah. Created bit of a job list last night on my white board.

Plenty to do!!

Also got the door bars welded in... Finally.

Ordered a few more bits too but waiting on them to arrive.

Next up is to remove most of it again and repaint the interior as it's messy as hell with all the work that's gone on recently!

Paint the door bars & fit the big brakes..

Toyed with the idea of selling and replacing with a G60 Corrado as some of you may of seen on Facebook. Scrap that now.. Back on with this! Lighter, faster and more fun!

Anyway.. On with the build!

Not worried weather or not I'd get a good one as I'd make it into a good one..

I think I'll get a Raddo in a year or so, need to get this out on track first and see how bad the understeer really is!!

Yeah of course dude, no worries.. You're only 20 mins or so from me. More than welcome to come round any time you like if you need a hand with stuff.
