I know its not a seat before people start but i think im right in thinking that its a similar chassis to the leon. So im wanting to know if lowering a mk4 golf tdi about 60-80mm will cause any problems like rubbing off drivesharts and how can i get around it? Anything else i should know thanks

yup. you can drop 50mm safely sorta, my farb just skims the shaft. very close. any more and u need like an audi tt farb (that goes under the shaft) or a big loop farb.

Best idea is to get coilovers with the mounting tab on the strut (leon cupra r ones)

Then fit the under the driveshaft farb from the lcr and you can go as low as you want!

Big loop arbs still knock if your low enough

I fitted a golf R32 front anti roll bar with adjustable drop links today. Runs under the driveshaft instead of over so no more driveshaft/anti rollbar issues for me. Used the adjustable drop links to attach it to the wishbones like so
