sorry for the hi-jack, and this might be a silly question, but would golf springs result in lowering my standard LC at all ?? Looking for a cheap way of dropping it a bit? Thanks.

im not entiarly sure but he bought his brand new so wouldnt have been cheap, but would it not be easier just getting lowering springs for a leon then you are sure they are the correct spring rate etc as the r 32 ones would be different, basically there is no easy and cheap way to lower a car if you still want it to handle why not just get springs from somewhere like ebay??? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Seat-Leon-1-8T-1-9-TDi-40mm-Lowering-Springs-120627_W0QQitemZ230303873282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item230303873282&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

thanks for the advice, I've just been reading about coilovers....seems they may not be the best thing for me anyway....just looking to drop it a bit, and if it handles better, bonus! May have to start a new thread....not really sure what the best options are..:S
