get your self a green dynatwist or a BMC kit if you want an open ended filter, if not,

Just get a green panel filter coupled to a cupra air intake, cheaper , but no extra noise,

Don't buy a k&n as there too oily and will knacker up your maf sensor

As Sisson has said if you want a cold air intake go for a Green Dynatwist, We find that just using a Green panel filter and a PD160 air intake does the job but give no extra noise.

We can supply the Green panel filter and the PD160 air intake here at JBS Auto Deisgns for £80.20 Inc VAT

I hope this helps

Mike

cheers guys im after good breathing coz i should be getting a remap of sort in mid july

hi i have a fr tdi thats been mapped i nw want an induction kit bt have been told that it will lose torque just wonderd if this is true ? and if there are any kits that will be good for power increase rather than loss ? many thanks paul

dont get pipercross they are rubbish and will also kill you maf sensor as i found out... im going to get hold of a dynatwist filter as people say they are good..

is that a made by green .? also does any 1 no what effect on power / torque the dynatwist has? thanks ppl:confused:confused:

all induction kits/panelfilter etc you will notice very litle gain in power/torque. youu more likely to notice the fact that the car will rev more freely.

i have a pd130 FR and i run a green panel filter and slightly moded air intake and this is what i have found.

yeah that sounds good not to boverd bout gaining just dint want to lose! does it effect your fuel economy? thanks paul

i have noticed no difference in fuel consumption with my panel filter, even after having it remapped i have not really noticed any difference under normal driving

good stuff then my friend does any 1 have a green dynatwist filter be interested to hear what econemy results are with that filter many thanks paul:)

i have the pd160 intake and green panel filter...have noticed very little..maybe a touch louder but hasnt effected fuel economy at all....

I have been running the green panel and pd160 for a year or so now. Its spot on, however throughout the summer i think that the best mod would be FMIC as i feel the lack of power in the heat.

Thats running a mapped car though, never noticed a difference before.

i got a £25 one from halfords which does a mint job for the price! theres some sound change aswell which was a bonus as i wasn't expecting any
