Just trying to determine which bulbs I should go for really and I wanted to see some that have already been done. Don't want to go down the HIDs route.

I have bought lots of different bulbs to try and get a whiter look with good visibility. Drove around for quite a while with Philips Diamondvision bulbs in...great blue white look, but visibility was awful. Got rid eventually (only recently found out they were not legal in UK! Whoops!) Anyway...after trying various different ones (including Philips X-treme Power) I have ended up with Philips Power2Night GT150 bulbs. They have great visibility, are whiter but still yellowy, but they have a blue tip so you get a slight blue look in the reflectors in the headlight. I bought a new pair for my new Ibiza off a seller on Ebay for £17.00 (inc postage)
Guess changing to these means will also have to change my fog lights as it might look a bit odd
