evening all :)

any ideas what mods i could get next? looking to spend around £500-£600

ive got a d/v, forge tip, intercooler, things id like next would be, brembos (bit outta my price range im sure)

to change the 2 silicone hoses off charge pipe and manifold (cant find anywhere to buy them from or a dv relocation kit)

get some spacers (need to check the width i can get away with)

any other ideas guys?

thanks

Forge or silicone hoses should have the hoses your after i would imagine,

What about exhaust, cat, dp all within your budget i would think, check awesomes gti's section out there doing a deal on milltek ends tomomrrow!!!

Standard wheels i think you can get away with 15mm spacers

Boost gauge, induction kit/panel filter, anti-roll bars, strut braces, coilovers

good thinking cupra 20!! could go for the zorst!, ive got boost guage, strut brace and jetex filter already.

i have been quoted £700 fitted for miltek system by amd or £640 delievered by awesome, only problem is i need someone to fit it for me which will probably cost £60 anyway lol!

does the exhaust make much of a difference?

Yeah i would have thought so espically if you get a dp and sports cat along with cat back system, you could always just go cat back would be half the cost. You could always fit the exhaust yourself and save a few pennies!!

Good spring damper combo or some coilovers could be bought for that price. Best bang for your buck with much improved looks and improved handling to boot. Depends what your after I guess....

i do things the other way round prob the wrong way really. I do power then breaks and handling think u notice it more that way. If you make it that far without ditching it mind... makes you drive more aware...im sure you at stage 1 already havent you sparkie1984 if not get that. If you have it you will notice a difference from an exhaust. Other than that a nice set of coilovers and some strut braces. Thats where im going next after my stage1.

Funny you say that s1l3nc3r, thats what i did. I got all my performance mods done first, exhaust,tip,FMIC,KO3S, REVO2 and i am still on standard brakes, suspension, arbs. Like you said, i should notice the difference more! But if i were to do things again id probably go coilovers first then brakes then get the power mods in!

I think its quite easy to get carried away with the power mods on the car really so easy to do on these because you dont really have to worry about internals till you get to 300+ bhp theres always somthing that catches your eye for more boost and more power...but i think there is no reason why a well set up cupra ie: suspension, breaks etc. can be just as quick if not quicker than a more powerfull cupra especialy on the twisty stuff. Just not much i can think of to compare to a big hit of boost pushing you into your seat...

got a stage 1 map, not quite got the mods for a stage 2 yet. cough cough, ko3s

any recommended people to get spacers from, looks like 15mm should fit, 20 may be a bit too much!

also do they come with correct bolts i.e. a kit rather than ordering things from different places? :)

Bill does spacers and bolts but not as a kit as far as i know, i think you'd be hard pushed to find a kit think they all come as seperates.
