I was gonna go that route mate but saw Bill saying that quite a few fitted with turboback Cobra haven't made good power. So thought I'd stick to the tried and tested route.

Going the stealth route I am. Fully resonated Milltek so it don't make too much noise and the fmic will need to fit without losing the fogs. Then over to Badger5 to upgrade my stage 1 to stage 2. Has to be below the radar as it is the wife's daily driver. ;)
Luckily she is the steadiest of drivers so shouldn't notice as she never goes above 50 mph even on a major road.

Good stuff mate. Not heard of the hughes engineering stuff, how come you've gone for that over the usual options etc?

Started getting my bits delivered to work so the wife doesn't find out.

Nice one. Atleast youve got one now pal. Tempted to buy a cat back resonated cobra for now as i had one before and loved the sound. Then ill save for the 3" downoipe and decat. Will the 3" downpipe, decat fit onto the 2.5" cat back without modifications? Always wondered this.

Think the catback is only 305. You might need a reducer that goes down to 2.5 inch but that won't be hard.

Hughes engineering made rear strut braces mate but there like hens teeth now.

I think the resonated cat back is about £335 if i remember correctly. Non res is £305.

Not sure on which one to get as my work mate has a mk5 Golf R32 milltek non res catback and it drones really bad. But i dont think it will be so bad on the cupra?? My last cupra r had:

Revo Technik remap carried out by VAGTECH. This results in 265bhp and 287ftlb
SFS 80mm Turbo Inlet Pipe
Forge 007P Diverter Valve
Cobra resonated catback exhaust system
Cross drilled front & rear brake discs
H&R 20mm lowering springs
Powerflex dog-bone engine mount bush
Powerflex front wishbone bushes

I loved it to be fair and felt really fast compared to my Remapped focus ST.
put it this way it felt alot different to my 225 LCR i have now reason why i cant wait to get it all done haha.

I had a powerflow on my 106 quicksilver when I was 20 and my god was it loud. Went Birmingham for Mac power and our ears were ringing lol. Def make sure you get the non baffled mate looks much better.

Yes mate non baffled like my last one was. Lol i can remember when i was 17 i had a 106 quiksilver which i spent a fortune on. I had the same, dual powerflow exhaust. 2 seperate backboxes and that sounded loud lol.
Couldnt beat my scooby though, had a full NUR Spec R exhaust on that and it was unreal. Used to wake all the neighbours up at 5 in the morning around by me. Was gutted to sell it but had to keep the peace with the neighbours lol.
