Well I picked up my car *LCR 2003 210BHP yesterday after having its MOT and….well…. hmmm it passed lol….. *does a back flip* but..

Fast idle test
Min 0.970
Max 1.030
My car = 1.015 but last year 1.030

Natural idle test
0.009 But last year 0.014

.. Is this good? Bad? Etc as I know zero about exhaust emissions testing

they are lower reading for emissions so they are better means your car is producing less gasses. its been awhile since ive MOT'd tho

I know people only care if it’s a pass or fail you would think they *the garage* would have little more input  like yep car passed nooooo probs etc all ok or… u maybe need 2 watch this next time or was reading little high from other cars I have done :blahblah:…. Guess its just very back and white… pass or fail…. lol:banned:

Keep using the 99octane juice and your emissions will get even lower!

Maybe the Government should adjust the tax brands to what levels of CO ur kicking out at your annual test rather than using the manufacturers levels!

in theory would be a good idea, and stop people getting labelled with the same brush, just for having a turbo or 4x4 etc etc when someone with a smaller engine car that is not well looked after could be throwing out more emissions!!

Just had mine through the MOT. Passed - phew.

Been putting in Shell V Power and has been driving very nicely ever since.
What were you CO level and HC level btw? Mine were 0% and 18ppm.
