i have the 1.8 TSi, long term average is 31. Thats a mix of cruise control 30s, sport mode A roads, and mixed driving trips out.
I wouldnt expect to get much more for urban driving. Car posts much better averages for long hauls.
 
I though ACT was more to pass a lower emissions test than for economy?

Mine spends hardly any time in ACT, but still getting 50+ mpg long term.

Lift and coast, never use the brakes!
Probably is but the more economical a car is, the less fuel it burns and therefore less emissions than the same engine would have without act.
 
Long term average with my FR 184 diesel was 45 with the Cupra coming in at 32.
