Ok going to get rocker cover and air intake manifold removed at the weekend hopefully with the help of Scott's bro. But looking for some opinions. Should i go:
Red on both
Red on rocker cover and black on intake
Black on intack and red on rocker cover (what i am thinking?)
Black all over
If your bored Scott you can make a wee photoshop up? Dont have to be perfect...

think i am going to go with black rocker cover and red inlet. needs some red at the front of the bay

Put DV in reverse and with the n246/... bypass i now hit peak boost in most gears of 20psi....
and drops slowly and holds at 16psi till 6500rpm
I still get that lovely woosh but when giving it some beans i get what one forum member described as " a mouse sneezing"

OK another wee update.
Removed rocker cover and air intake manifold and they will be going off to the coaters tomorrow. Have decided on black intake and red cover as this will match the pipes. Have decided not to get throttle body coated but instead i will sand down and paint. I was just worried that it will get damaged.
Also got my bro to make me some proper blanking plates. CnC cut from 5mm aluminum and a perfect fit.

I actually ment to say. I was shocked at how fast he got everything out. Just goes to show how much experience he has with these engines.

Engines back together and running again after a week of flapping my arms and having to get the injector seats re-threaded.
Just need to tidy ip a few more things and the bay will be done. Then i can move on to sorting the handeling out
Also fitter some hubcentric 20mm spacers on the rear and im now happy with my rear

Well that's the arb ordered, cars in garage getting brakes looked at and all going will will get it fitted on Saturday.
Then its all set for a wee Trip to the ring a week today. Really wanted to order a HID kit as i will be driving through the night but just couldn't justify it.
This arb better be worth it!

good show ol' boy. as for HIDs couldnt reccomend them enough, had 2 sets in the ibiza due to headlight upgrades but will always buys another set for future cars, it literally is night and day with them and its not like they dont last either. you should buy them.

and they're great, i went for 6000k, H7. Took 20 mins to sort, and i ordered saturday, turned up yesterday.

Arb fitted last night and tided up today. Sorry for bad pics, only had phone.

Car feel a lot more planted in the rear and when you take it into a corner it goes in fast and holds.
Also fixed TIP so its not squashed with coolant hose. Seems to suck in a bit more.
All set for its wee trip to Germany and round the Ring now.
