Try Performance Creations for mudflaps. I take on board previous comments regarding fitting rally type mupflaps to your pride and joy, however, personal choice. I have fitted these, totally flexible and do the job in protecting your car. Various grades of material aviailable, and logos. In fitting these I did take the wheels off, makes it easier and did give me the chance to thoroughly clean my wheels. However, I beleive that these can be fitted without removing the wheels.

Was that to an ST? If so can the rears be fited as provided or do they need adapting? I'm figuring that the rear arches are different to those on the hatch. Do they come pre-drilled? Grateful for any tips from your experience with them.

Not an ST, I am not aware that that the rear wheel arches are any different on an ST, however SEAT can confirm. They come pre-drilled and use the existing Torx fittings for the arch liners, in the same positions,so there is no drilling required. The inboard fixings, to secure the mudflaps, require a spacer, provided, and self tapping screws, provided, which locate into the inner plastic arch liner. The underside brackets fit to the existing Torx fixings, securing the lower arch liner under the car. Very easy to fix, full instructions and photo type diagrams are provided. Hope this helps. These mudflaps are much lower than the rigid plastic ones as the SEAT approved mupflaps and do occassionaly rub on bumps and speed restriction humps, however as they are totally flexible, no problem, and as they are lower, they offer more protection to your pride and joy.

Thanks for that, it's helpful. I spoke to Ian at Performance some time back but he hadn't seen an ST and couldn't comment. I thought that SEAT quoted a different part no. for their rears on the ST, so I'm guessing that the fixing positions are different. I think I'll take a chance and order some and maybe ask them to leave the rears blank so I can match up to the torx fittings and liner - should be possible to drill them at home? Which of the three specs did you choose?

I wanted Mud Flaps for my Leon FR but was dismayed at the cost of them around £50 a pair!
On my previous Skoda Octavia Scout, I bought genuine Skoda flaps from Superskoda at a much more realistic price of 35 euros for both sets. The fitted onto the car fine but we're not effective flaps, mud still got spattered up the back bumper and the tailgate was always covered in crud in poor weather.
I bought a cheap set of mounded flaps suitable for the Leon off eBay for £16 for 4 flaps.
Initially they did not look like a good fit, however after making a template and the use of a Stanley knife I got them to fit quite well. I will attempt to post a couple of photos from my phone.

Bollocks, can't find where the attachment icon has gone! How do I add the pics?

Rears not available for the ST. A ST owner should pay them a visit...

Thanks for that quick reply. Had much the same feedback some time ago and left it hoping that they would come across an ST but it seems no luck. Maybe I'll take that chance and see if I can get the rears supplied undrilled and adapt them.

That should work with an assortment of self tapping wood/plastic screws to find suitable mounting positions. I wasn't too keen on the rally look from the rear, want the car to blend in somewhat...
