I love the sub, just makes everything sound better but without being over the top. Need to fabricate a cover for it incase it gets damaged tho, amount of crap in my boot! Gonna make a perspex cover with IBIZA milled out of the centre and a small alpine logo. Will post pics as it progresses

looks pretty standard and subtle from the outside then goes all crazy with the interior!
Was that intentional?

Not particularly, but i live near Falkirk and anything with a bodykit or meccano spoiler is a police magnet!

It did have random stickers on it when i picked it up from the dealers which was a bit odd..

And aimez, the amps screwed onto the rear seatwith 5mm screws, but drilled 3mm first so as not to split the material. If i need my spare all i do is lift out the sub box and tilt the rear seat forward. Jobs a good 'un!

For the sub bo i got a massive 3 foot square of Velcro and cut it to the size of the base, then screwed the hooky bit into the floor, and fluffy bit onto the base. Easy!

Haha! i got flagged by a guy the other day telling me to turn it down because i was breaching the peace - just turned it up progressivly until i was shouting "I CANT HEAR WHAT YOU'RE SAYING MATE!!"

Either that or pretend you cant hear em always works...

Does anyone have any ideas on how to hide the amp wires?
Just think its looks a bit cowboyish.

And Pedy, i recognised where you took the pics of yours the other day, its the Colzeum car park outside Kilsyth?
I've seen that retina burning ibiza drive by the house a few times! Looks pretty damn nice!

haha i work with old bus drivers who love it when i come in with music loud but i play oldie music for them with a sub then they appreciate it, my dad calls it the boom box lol!!
Both my amps are screwed on the seat back glad they are clothed or it would wreck the back of the seats. Il get some velcro too sounds good, the bungee cord looks naff but the sub kept moving!

can't remember the proper name of the headunit it was the first one that Alpine did and teamed up with Apple to connect an i pod. The i pod is well hidden thou, when you plug it in it says Alpine on the ipod plus i don't have to carry my c.ds around and if someone nicked my ipod all my c.ds will be safe at home!
Am loving my music after waiting weeks for car audio direct to send me replacement speakers after i got duff ones!

chris your sig is tiny make it bigger so we can see!

Got a fancy tv type thing in it at the mo with a 7 inch screen. Dont tink its up to much tho so gonna flog it and get an alpine one in red backlighting.

I tend to get worried when i put my sunspecs on the dash and the sub vibrates em off! But its all in the name of good sound!

I dont have another house for 900 yards around! Its great!

I wish I had that, then I could have my music to a half decent level when I wash the car every other weekend.

Starting to think that maybe I went for the wrong sized sub. It sounds great and I do like it but its definetly not capable of shaking my rear headlights, glasses of water etc. Most passer bys wouldnt even know I had a sub installed unless they got in the car.
