My 200 Ibiza Cupra VS Mercedes e280

Hey lads and lasses, one of my bosses has 1 of the above adn I was wondering how I would fair against one on a local dually?

Any particular one? Wouldnt of thought you would be up with the E55's

shouldnt be much problem really most regular mercs (A/C/E class) are pretty boring, only the top models are abit more special

Sure but the E55 AMG has 419bhp and 535 lb/ft of torque, 0-60 in 4.5seconds I would be very suprised if an Ibiza kept up with that!

yeah but actually doing it in that time over what it says on paper prob be a different story,

remapped but otherwise standard ibiza can do early 6s

and speaking mid range...well as said they weigh a **** load so at a guess they have no more than 250bhp/tonne...so less than 100bhp difference overall

id have a go, that said i once tried pushing an RS6 along the M4...that was a funny day

Remember its not all about 0-60's and top speed and bhp figures as quoted by merc......

The driver could be a right numpty too.

Sorry guys but I do tend to agree with AaronM.

It may be close'ish up to about 100mph but past that and the Merc will just disappear. I remember being behind one when my car was standard. It was a while ago and I can't remember what model it was but we were in the outside lane of the motorway doing about 80mph and he clocked me behind him and he put his foot down. I've never seen anything disappear so quickly in my life. Fair enough, my car was standard at the time but the way he left me, even my car now wouldn't stand a chance. IHI would be a neccessity to keep up/outdrag one of those beasts.
